Ballance, alright it's a little game, casual, if you want to call it that. But it's a hell of a lot of fun.
One thing that we have to tell you about Ballance before you consign it to the depths of the unworthy is that it uses the most advanced physics engine of the gaming world: Havok. Yes the engine used by hugely complex games like Halo 2 and Painkiller is in a little Marble Madness re-make (Marble Madness was an Atari hit back in 1984). There, we've got you interested now haven't we.
Ballance uses this monster of a physics engine perfectly, with the different in game materials having different weights and perfect bouncing effects.
This is relevant as you can change what material your balls are made out of (no jokes please), so paper is good to float up to out of reach places usng a fan, but has no pushing power; stone is great for pushing but has trouble with steep slopes; and wood is a good all rounder with...... well you'll find out the rest on your own.
So if you're bored with killing terrorists or trying to take over the world then Ballance is a game that definitely deserves a look.

In this strangely addictive little puzzle game you'll need to guide a marble through a floating world of strange mechanisms and weird mazes, changing the material your ball is made out of to get to the end in the shortest time possible.
